What cookies we use

We use a small number of first-party cookies for analytics only — to understand which pages get visited and how people move through the site. Analytics events are processed through a Supabase Edge Function that we control directly.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. No ad networks, no cross-site trackers, no sale of data to marketing platforms.

Why we use them

Analytics tells us which pages are useful and which are not, so we can improve the site for visitors and for the trade business it represents. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

How to opt out

You can opt out of analytics cookies in any of the following ways:

• Decline non-essential cookies using your browser's cookie settings — most browsers let you block third-party or all cookies by default.
• Use a browser privacy extension or tracking-protection feature to block analytics scripts.
• Contact us on WhatsApp and ask us to exclude your visits from analytics.

Opting out does not affect your ability to browse or contact the business through this site.

AI intake chatbot (coming soon)

We are building an AI intake chatbot for this site. Once live, it may set an additional session cookie to keep track of your conversation while you are on the page — for example, to remember what you have already told it so you do not have to repeat yourself.

This session cookie is functional, not tracking-based: it exists only to run the conversation and is not used for analytics or advertising. This policy will be updated with the specific cookie name and retention period before the chatbot goes live.

Your rights under POPIA

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, you have the right to know what data we hold about you, to request access to it, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to processing that is not necessary for the site to function.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site's tooling changes — most notably when the AI intake chatbot goes live. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Material changes will be raised with active monthly clients on WhatsApp.
